Hello Lower Sapperton Neighbours!
As a follow up to the email we sent you on February 20th, this is to remind you of the upcoming Traffic Calming Workshop #2 scheduled for this Tuesday, March 8th at 8 PM.
The purpose of this workshop is to discuss concerns and hear feedback on specific elements of the proposed traffic calming design, and take new ideas that can help finetune the proposal prior to presenting it to the City of New Westminster for consideration. Please note that this is the final step in the resident-directed part of this process. We encourage anyone who is interested to participate in the workshop on March 8. If you are unable to do so, you are welcome to provide feedback or ideas via email to SappertonRA@gmail.com. Please also discuss this issue with your neighbours and encourage them to participate in the Workshop. We hope as many residents as possible will be part of this important discussion and have their voices heard. We would like to remind everyone that the SRA is acting as a facilitator and liaison to the City on this initiative, and the participation of the RA should not be seen as an endorsement of this proposal. The RA has not taken any position on this proposal.
